I am very excited about my upcoming children’s book , the Glad Not Sad Book. The research is all done, the designing and text.

I am heading to Vancouver on 21st September 2022 to attend the opening of the AFC Annual Exhibition, which runs from 22nd to the 25th September 2022 at the Van Duesen Botanical Garden in Vancouver , Canada.

After 12 years and many happy memories , Sea Silks Gallery has closed. The shop sold and the new owners are putting their own business into the space.

Following the release of my video How To Paint On Silk For Beginners, I had a lot of requests for a silk painting kit to accompany the tutorial.

After 35 years of silk painting experience, I finally released a step by step tutorial on how to paint on silk.

I was thrilled to win the State Of The Art Photography competition run by the Bateman Foundation and gallery in Victoria , Canada.

A Portrait Of A Lionfish was selected for this year’s AFC Annual exhibition in Vancouver , Canada , September 2021. It will then travel to Tucson , Arizonia at the end of January 2022.

2021 was off to a slow start for Author Visits to schools due to covid restrictions however I did visit Main Arm Upper Public School in late May. The school is a beautiful 3 teacher school set in the foothills behind Mullumbimby in Northern NSW.

My work will be for sale at Ballina Post Office for the month of July 2021. Thanks to Tina , the general manager for nominating me for the Australia Post Local Business Hero Award .
